This is a 1-on-1 tutoring sessions tailored to the student. Before the first class, I will contact the parent to figure out what areas the students needs help. I am available to help with curriculum you may already have, or I can provide worksheets. Students will also be given the opportunity to complete worksheets that can be sent out upon request after each class for further review. My goal is to help students feel more confident about their ability to understand their math concepts so that they may continue on with the new school year! Each class will vary based on student age ability. Some class topics may include: Week of June 1st Pre-school: Letter recognition Letter sounds Week of June 8th Kindergarten: Letter recognition Letter sounds Letter Writing Identifying upper and lower case letters Week of June 15th 1st Grade: Letter Sounds CVC words Letter blends Sight words Sounding out words Reading short sentences Week of June 22nd 2nd Grade: Sight words Sounding out words Reading complex sentences Reading small passages Identifying the main point of a passage

She has over 17 years experience in teaching piano and specializes in making the classes fun and engaging for her students.
