What will be taught? This is a 1:1 class that teaches teens the fundamental principles of personal finance. Students will learn about budgeting, saving, responsible money management, making wise purchasing decisions, and avoiding debt. The class is designed to help teens develop healthy financial habits and learn the skills they need to set themselves up for financial success in the future. What topics will you cover? The class covers a wide range of topics, including: - The value of money - Budgeting and saving - Making wise purchasing decisions - Responsible money management - Avoiding debt - Setting financial goals - Developing good financial habits How is your class structured? The class is structured to be interactive and engaging, with a mix of lectures, games, slides, video clips, and discussions. The class is divided into modules, each covering a specific topic. Students will have the opportunity to interact with the instructor, ask questions, and participate in activities that reinforce the concepts taught in each module. How will you teach? The class will be taught using a variety of teaching methods, including lecture, discussion, interactive activities, and multimedia presentations. 父母的引導和規範
Students will get more value from the class if they have access to Google Sheets software (free) so that they can practice with the templates that the instructor will demonstrate. If a student wants to use their own version of Google Sheets then they will need a personal account set up for them by their parent or guardian before the class starts. However, the instructor will be sharing his screen so that students can follow along even if they don't have their own Google Sheets software and account.
