In these one on one tutoring sessions, I will teach reading, writing, or math at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade level. Parents/Guardians will choose which topic from below they would like their child to focus on. 

Each lesson will be 45 minutes long. It will start with a quick check-in, then I will teach the lesson, your student will practice the skill, and we will normally end with a fun game. We may play multiple games some days. All game topics apply what we are learning in class

How will you teach?
-I will provide explicit teaching with a lot of repetition to reinforce concepts. I will break down concepts into bite-size pieces. I will teach with interactive slides and games. The students will write or type on the screen if appropriate. 

What's your teaching style?
-My teaching style is all about allowing learners to feel heard and to learn as much as they can in our session. My class will go at the pace your learner is performing. Mistakes are celebrated in my class because they tell us what we need to target. I make students hunt for mistakes so they can carry on this skill outside of my class. I will start with an icebreaker for us to get comfortable with each other. Furthermore, I am a special education teacher who welcomes older learners who need a refresher on any topic.  I like to have fun and laugh while we are learning. Lastly, I enjoy building confidence and giving praise. All are welcome!
