I will help your learner with his or her math needs.  I can assist with any math topics taught at the elementary or middle school level (K-8).  You may bring your own materials and I can provide materials as well.  I will review the learner's needs before class so we can start quickly and spend the whole class helping him or her improve.  I like to understand each learner's learning style so I can teach to that style.  I also like to relate all math concepts to the real world and show the learner how the math he or she learns can be used in his or her own life every day.

If you don't have a specific topic you'd like me to discuss then I will choose a math topic each class appropriate for your learner's grade level.  These may include number sense, fractions, or basic arithmetic processes (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to name a few.

Please let me know at least 24 hours before the class (or when booking the class if within 24 hours) what specific areas of math your learner needs help with (i.e. fractions, volume, algebra, polynomials, etc.) as this will ensure I have plenty of time to prepare my lesson so that it is very thorough.  Classes booked within 24 hours of the start time are subject to rescheduling if more preparation time is needed.
