🌸 Come make friends with others just as unique as you are! We want to get to know you and all of your amazing quirks and hobbies! 🌸 In this group, students will have the opportunity to connect with others through messages, videos, and posts. 🌸 When our group reaches 20 students, I will also offer 1 live meeting per month. In this group and our monthly live meetup, we have a great time chatting about everything under the sun - games, family, books, shows, stuffed animals, sports, hobbies, etc. 🌸 As the moderator, I post prompts several times a week to get the conversations going. I will ask questions, model answers, offer challenges and silly games plus other content to keep students engaged with one another. I also share resources for fidgets, calm-down techniques, and more! 🌸 I celebrate students' contributions to the group and encourage social skills such as effective communication and respect. In relating with others in this group, students can practice and grow their independence, build their self-confidence, and learn from one another. Students are welcome to post as often or as little as they feel comfortable. 🌸 This group is a fun and safe place for neurodivergent students where ALL are welcome. I am a homeschool mom to 3 neurodivergent kiddos, and I also have ADHD which I consider a superpower now that I know how to manage it! I can understand and relate to students who are wired differently, and I greatly enjoy working with students to celebrate their uniqueness and help build self-confidence.
