Dance is a great way to de-stress and stay healthy. Dance can improve cardiovascular health, balance, and strength, boost cognitive performance & improve overall mood. All of that whilst having fun and listening to your favourite music! What could be better? Typical class schedule: (5 mins) Welcome, class rules reminder, and a dance warm-up involving stretching and raising the heart rate. (20 mins) High-energy dancing to around 5 different songs from a range of genres and a range of different dance styles (including but not limited to street, hip-hop, salsa, contemporary, waacking, locking, popping). (5 mins) Relaxing dance cool-down with lots of stretching to avoid injury. Please ensure that water and a clear, open space is available for this class, and that appropriate footwear and clothing are worn. Enroll now!
