Ready to become a Youtube or take your Youtube channel to the next step? Then this 2-week class is the PERFECT fit for you! In 4 classes you will learn all about Youtube, how the algorithm works, how to gain views, make thumbnails, come up with ideas, and more! Your teacher, who has thousands of subscribers and views, will be open and transparent about their journey and help your child to become the best Youtuber they can possibly be!

Class #1: How Does Youtube Work?
We are diving into exactly how to become a Youtuber here by talking about how to gain views, subscribers, how the Youtube algorithm works, and more! Time permitting, we will work on brainstorming ideas for YOUR youtube channel. (ie: name ideas, video ideas, thumbnail ideas, etc.)

Class #2: How to Market Yourself on Youtube!
Did you know that Youtube is all about branding yourself? Everything that you type and post MATTERS, and in this class we will explain why it is important to brand and market yourself and also HOW to do so! I will introduce you a user-friendly, free, graphic design site called Canva and how you can use that to make Youtube thumbnails, banners, profile pictures, and more!

Class #3: How to Edit Videos!
Through this class, we will learn the essential techniques for how to edit a video on Youtube (or any social media platform.) Using a free software called Capcut, students learn how to edit on their computer, tablet, or mobile device. I will explain how to do so and students can follow along with their own video!

Class #4: 10 Must-Know Tips for Being a Successful Youtuber!
Now that you know how to gain views, market yourself, and create videos, we will end our class learning the absolute, most important tips and tricks to know for how to continue and be successful in your Youtube career!

PARENTAL GUIDANCE #1
Officially, YouTube forbids children under the age of 13 to create their own accounts, and children between ages 13 and 17 are only allowed to open accounts with parental permission. Parents are allowed to create their children Youtube channel. It is important that parents monitor and help their children when creating a Youtube channel. 

PARENTAL GUIDANCE #2
A parent-supervised Canva account is used for this class. This can be a) an account created specifically for the learner under parent supervision and monitoring or b) the parent's Canva account that the child is allowed to use for this class. (**NOTE: Email addresses are required when registering for Canva, so a parent/guardian MUST assist the learner in creating the account to approve the email address used.)
- Canva is a FREE online program but does offer a paid PRO version. Either the Free or Pro versions are suitable for this class.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE #3
Capcut is the video editing software used in this course. This is free for computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Parents must assist students when setting up an account. Please read more on the Capcut site for more information: https://www.capcut.com/
