Bom dia!
Welcome to Portuguese for Beginners and Intermediate level learners! This is an ongoing course where learners will be able to meet friends while learning vocabulary and simple sentences in Portuguese. Each class is prepared by Ms. Lambert, a native speaker, and we will focus on simple conversations and useful vocabulary. To make it fun, we may talk about fun facts about Brazil and Portugal.

The classes do not build up progressively. Rather, a learner can join at any time and learn the skill that we will cover on their first day, regardless of when a cycle has started or how many other learners have attended the class before.

No materials are needed. Before or after each class, there will be an available PDF for download, if desired. The PDF will have the vocabulary learned in class.

I am Ms. Lambert, Outschool teacher since 2020. I have taught Portuguese classes for different groups and I love how learners enjoy them and develop their skills fast. My classes are inclusive and positive. Everyone is welcome to participate. Shy learners are encouraged but never forced to speak. I believe that, with encouragement and by watching their peers, shy learners always come out of their shells and thrive.


About accents: Although my native accent is a standard-neutral Brazilian accent, I teach my learners their words and sentences in a neutral Portuguese accent, so they can be understood anywhere where Portuguese is spoken. Keep in mind that accents vary greatly in different areas of Portugal, Brazil, and Africa.
