Students will learn about the history behind the musical Six. They will critically discuss the artistic choices of the creators of each song. Students will use the information they find and their own critical thinking skills to determine how effective the creators were in conveying their message. Musical theater and the arts, in general, have been a passion of mine throughout my entire life! I have been involved in teaching art, including art criticism, for nearly 20 years in a variety of settings and to a wide range of learners.

Learners will need to listen to the song from the Six: The Musical cast recording that we will be discussing before class starts. There will be some optional questions that students will be able to respond to in the classroom before the start of each session.
