Learners will be able to use language techniques such as point of view and mood to improve their use of descriptive language and word choices while considering the audience and purpose of their writing. Learners will also be able to revise their own creative writing by focusing on organization, coherence, progression, and logical support of ideas within and between paragraphs.

I am a certified Nevada state teacher for grades 6-12, specializing in English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction for students located abroad. Additionally, I hold certifications in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

Learners are encouraged to participate in weekly class activities and continue to practice their applied writing strategies by completing their story writing outside class time. Families should anticipate setting aside an additional 1 hour of weekly writing time for Learners to compose their creative writing pieces.
