In this ongoing writing practice club, we will be completing various engaging exercises designed to boost writing proficiency. We will be using fun worksheets and lined writing paper for practicing handwriting, identifying sentence types, combining and fixing sentences, adding the correct punctuation and capitalization, while also getting an introduction to fundamental grammar concepts and parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, possessive pronouns, homophones, prepositions, conjunctions, reflexive pronouns, subordinating conjunctions and more! These concepts and building blocks of language are vital for constructing sentences and expressing ideas effectively.

Parents will be provided downloadable PDFs to print each week. These worksheets include fun word/sentence/grammar activities and a lined writing paper. Students will be able to follow along and practice on the worksheets while I am explaining and demonstrating each exercise on the screen. Once they are done, students can hold up their work in front of the camera for me to see. Student interaction is encouraged but not required.

There is no prerequisite, so you can join, pause or leave at any time. It is perfect for homeschooling students, after-school practice and even for intermediate ESL learners.
