Let's see how much fun we can have with 17 syllables! Maybe you're already an old-hand at writing Haiku, and maybe it's your first time. Either way, you'll enjoy this session! We're going to learn about the different types of Haiku (traditional and non-traditional). We'll share some written by various authors, as well as my own. We'll see the beauty of nature and laugh with some that are riddles. You'll get to write some using picture prompts and other creative (maybe even silly) methods. We'll share and discuss our writing as we proceed through our session. There will be no required homework, as there is only one session. I will provide you with some additional activities that you can have a good time with after our session is through. Remember, we are all expanding our knowledge together (including the teacher).
