This 18 week class will cover the following writing genres: *Informative - How to *Personal Narrative - story *Opinion *Expository - research *Persuasive *Friendly Letter Each genre will consist of three sessions. Students will learn to go through the full writing process (OUTLINE, DRAFT, REVISE, EDIT, FINAL DRAFT) for each genre we focus on. Throughout this process, students will grow their love and motivation to write. This writing system that Teacher Christie uses to teach writing has been SUCCESSFUL for ALL students!
In every session, students will need the following materials: * binder paper * pencil * eraser * red/yellow/green pen, marker, or crayon * research pdf if applicable
