With so much technology around us, cursive writing is a vanishing art. Yet for many people, once mastered, it allows for better, faster ease of writing. Each week, your child will have access to three sessions of cursive handwriting practice: one letter will be introduced and modelled each class (except the last week). Time will then be available for your child to practice these letters. 
Already covered those letters? Simply want guided practice? No problem! Because it is an ongoing class, once the new letters are reviewed (approximately 10 minutes), students may approach me to inquire about other letters, as well as full words and sentences. 
I am a very approachable teacher, open and patient with all learners. I believe high interaction between student and teacher is important to improve skills; students can model letters directly on the screen with me, or can demonstrate their abilities as they write on paper. I also love to challenge my learners!
Because each student is at a different spot in their learning, I focus on each individually as we progress. For example, some students come into class with no cursive experience, while others simply wish to practice more and know all the letters. Once letters are assessed and practiced, I offer various ways for students to practice full sentences, including copying stories I have written with them during class time.
Please have lined paper available for your child -- it does not have to be special cursive paper. A pen is also better than a pencil in this class (it shows up better on the video for me to see how they are doing).
