Is your teen passionate about movies, storytelling, or digital media? This comprehensive filmmaking course offers aspiring young filmmakers the chance to dive deep into the creative and technical process of filmmaking, from developing a strong story idea to producing a polished short film. Through hands-on experience, students will gain skills in screenwriting, cinematography, directing, editing, and sound design, using professional tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and WriterSolo. Guided by an experienced filmmaker and educator, students will work both independently and collaboratively, with a final class screening to showcase their original work. Overview: Week 1 – Story Structure Week 2 – Screenwriting Week 3 – Cinematography Week 4 – Pre-Production Week 5 – Editing in Premiere Pro Week 6 – Advanced Editing Week 7 – Sound Design Week 8 – Final Screening This class is ideal for teens who have a strong interest in film and are ready to take their work to the next level.

This course is designed to support students with unique learning needs, including ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, by offering step-by-step instruction and a flexible, engaging environment.
학부모 가이드
In this course, students may need help with filming their projects outside of class time. They will be using a mobile recording device, such as an iPhone or iPad, to film and edit, and may need assistance with devices they don't own.
We will also be using editing applications like Adobe Rush, Adobe Premiere, and students may need help installing these apps or confirming they work on their devices.
We will be watching short film clips in class, all rated PG. These clips will be screened via screen share, so students won’t need access to YouTube.

No prior experience or prerequisites are required for this workshop. Learners of all skill levels are welcome to join and learn the basics of filmmaking.
