Each lesson includes a brief video lesson of about 5-10 minutes that will instruct the learner on how to do each step of the writing process: 

1. brainstorming and choosing a topic
2. an overview of the essay structure; preparing a plan for the essay
3. writing the thesis statement and introduction
4. writing the body paragraphs
5. conclusions
6. revising and publishing

After each assignment, I will provide specific feedback to the learner to help them level up their writing skills. Feedback is important because it helps learners celebrate their successes and also see where they can improve.

This is the first in a series of essay writing classes that I will be offering asynchronously. I will soon be posting an informative report class, a response to literature class, a timed essay test prep class, and more! You could definitely choose a few classes and create a full year of writing curriculum for your learner.
