**PLEASE NOTE** This is a SELF-PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page. This class will be presented via powerpoint. Students will upload images of their assignments for the teacher to see and comment on. This is particularly important if a final grade is required for homeschool or charter school credit. Why Self-Paced? *MY Self-Paced classes ALWAYS cost less than the live versions of the same class! *Self-Paced classes are an excellent choice for families with busy schedules. *Content is exactly the same as live classes, at a lower fee. *Students can work at an independent pace. *Self-Paced classes are fantastic for international students whose time zone doesn't match the teacher's (US Mountain Time), *Self-Paced classes are a great alternative for students who are uncomfortable with live video chat. Our Self-Paced format will be as follows: Content: Video demonstration of the process will be posted. Videos will vary in length depending on the type of art being presented. Some may be as short as 10 or 15 minutes while others could be ½ hour or more. Student work is expected to take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour, depending upon the student’s preferred pace. Drawing Assignments: Students spend time completing their artwork and submit it via the classroom. Submit Assignment: Students are required to post photos of their completed artwork in the classroom on the designated post. Keep in mind, uploading artwork for the teacher to see is important for assessment and feedback.

Creating Letters
Students will choose a positive word (or their name) and practice writing it with fancy letters as demonstrated in the video. Students will have the choice of creating their own fancy lettering as well. 레슨2:
Drawing Decorative Elements
Students will practice drawing decorative elements, including patterns and colors inside and around the letters, "dangles," etc. Students may choose to begin their final copy before the final class. 레슨3:
Putting it All Together
Students will draw final copies on good paper, outline with Sharpies, and color with markers, gel pens, paint pens, or any other media of choice. 그 외 세부 사항

Paper pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener fineline black marker (Micron pen or ultrathing Shaprie work well) colored pencils or fineline colored markers (Sharpie has a nice line of several colors, or Crayola fine markers)
