Thank you so much for your interest in Wire Wrapping with crystal Jewelry course. In this class we will learn how to wire wrap a crystal/ rock into a beautiful necklace. At the beginning of class I will share with the students what crystal I have chosen and some interesting facts about my choice. Each student will then share what crystal/ rock they chose and an interesting fact about it. The majority of class will be my instructing how to wire wrap the crystal. Students will learn how to wire wrap a crystal into a beautiful necklace. This class will also include a show and tell with a discussion about different stones and crystals.
1. Students will need wire **22 Gauge** which can be purchased at Art supply stores like Michael's, Hobby, Lobby, or Amazon. Children are encouraged to use whatever color wire they feel drawn to. Below is a link to amazon for one example of 22 gauge wire but they can use any color wire as long as it is 22 gauge. ****IMPORTANT: Wire that is less than 20 gauge is thicker and much harder to work with please try to use 20 or 22 for this course. https://www.amazon.com/Jewelry-Making-Copper-Beading-Premium/dp/B08YV6KPZ7/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=22+gauge+wire+wrapping&qid=1631136442&sr=8-6 2.
