This class will be a class for pre-teens and teens who want to start learning Japanese. This class will be focused on grammar, proper pronunciation, and vocabulary. Each class will begin with a review of material from the previous class, and move on to a new material. There will be a set of slides for each class, that will be later shared with students after the class. Students will be encouraged to ask any questions throughout the class, and will also be encouraged to participate.

Students are requires previous knowledge or have to had taken the "Fall Semester: Japanese Beginners for Teens" course.

This class will be covering chapter 5 through the end of Genki I and then Genki II textbook (which will be provided)

These are flexible schedules but will roughly follow this schedule:
Week 1 (1/8, 1/10): Review of previous class; students are encourage to review over the winter and come with any questions. 
Week 2 (1/15, 1/17): Chapter 5; Adjectives, suki/kirai
Week 3 (1/22, 1/24): Chapter 5; mashouka, introduction to counters
Week 4 (1/29, 1/31): Chapter 5 review; Chapter 6 and te-form

We will also go over set of vocabularies that students will be asked to study at home for. There will be vocabulary check ins.
All class materials will be provided, but students may choose to purchase their own if they'd like physical copies.
