수업 소개
We Wish You a Merry Crafty Christmas and in this class, your child will enjoy learning more about this holiday through literature, songs, activities and a craft. This class meets for one week, 30 minutes a day, and provides learners with an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit! We will have a different Christmas focus each day, as per the schedule below, and students are encouraged to bring an example to share for a daily show and tell. The supplies students are encouraged to bring to complete our crafts will be sent out for the entire week and it will be a very, merry time for all! Day 1: Stocking Day 2: Christmas Tree Day 3: Ornament Day 4: Reindeer Day 5: Santa My teaching background is Preschool/Kindergarten and I also have young children so I know how important it is to have interactive classes! I have designed all of them to be fun and engaging for young learners. We will listen, share and read together all while having fun! These classes also provide a great opportunity for some social interaction with age-appropriate peers.

Suggested supplies may include printables, paper plates, cotton balls, crayons/markers, glue and various arts and craft materials. A complete list will be given for the entire week prior to the classes starting.

Hi everyone! My name is Lisa and I reside in the Lone Star State also known as Texas. I am a graduate of Baylor University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. I also received my Master of Education degree from The University of Texas. I love working with Preschool and Elementary aged students that are at all ability levels! Special Education still holds a dear place in my heart and was my focus during college and graduate school. I am currently a stay at home mom of two young sons but before that, I worked for 13 years in a public elementary school. I taught PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) for 3 years and Kindergarten for 10 years until I had my first son. Currently, I am an online ESL teacher and have been with the company since the summer of 2019. I enjoy helping teach students English! I am TEFL certified as well.
My passion for teaching came from having a younger brother with special needs. I loved working with him to help make his life as best as our family could. He is the reason I chose the major I did. Along my journey to becoming a teacher, I realized how much I enjoyed working with young children and helping them learn as much as they can to succeed. When I am not teaching students online or my boys at home, I enjoy traveling, reading, dancing and being active with my family. I am so honored to be an Outschool Teacher and appreciative of this opportunity.
