This class is perfect for Wings of Fire fans of all ages! In this ongoing class, we will read passages from different Wings of Fire books and complete activities aimed to improve reading and writing skills. We will focus on skills such as fluency, intonation, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, syntax and complex writing. The class will also include art projects for a variety of learning! There are three skills we aim to develop in this course: reading, writing and discussion. Learners will get better at reading aloud as they develop their fluency, rhythm, intonation and expression. Students will also build on-the-page skills such a reading comprehension, summarizing, making predictions, contextual thinking and vocabulary. Learners will also develop general writing skills such as sentence structure, grammar, spelling, paragraph formation and more. Finally, students will learn to formulate their own opinions and share their thoughts with others clearly and effectively. They will also build critical thinking skills through exciting discussion.
