In this 4 week course, students will learn what caused the Korean War, the war itself, and the outcomes of the War. In week 1, students will learn the causes of the Korean War. We will discuss post World War 2 outcomes, Containment, the threat of Communism and the ideological differences between the Communist USSR and China and the Capitalist Western Europe and United States. In week 2, we will discuss the war itself and decisive battles as well as the state mate with the peace talks, why...
- Students will improve their understanding of political ideologies, the Korean War, and its outcomes. Students will improve their communication skills in classroom settings.
I am a social studies teacher. I also have a Master's in political science as well as a Bachelor degree in political science with a history minor.
