Welcome to Earth! One of the most interesting, complex, beautiful places in the universe! In this ongoing class students will learn about one amazing geological feature on our planet. These are some of the most interesting places that most people have never heard of! We'll talk about what makes these places unique, how they were formed, how old they are, and if they help or harm humans. Most weeks will involve geology, but there may be other topics that are included throughout the class....
I am a state certified teacher with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special education. I have a K-8 license for general education and a K-12 license for special education.
Students will not be going off the Outschool platform. All information will be presented by me through a presentation that includes pictures and occasionally embedded videos.
Since each week is different, the resources used will vary. Information will be gathered from some the USGS website, various national and state park websites, and national geographic.
