수업 소개
영어레벨 - A2
미국 3학년 - 5학년 학년
레벨 Intermediate - Advanced
Writing is all around us! Everything starts with writing whether it’s a newscast, a sportscast, a play, a television show or a movie. The class will introduce students to the real world of writing. They will use Writing Workshop and the Writing Process to create, write, and produce both fiction (scripts, short stories, plays) and non-fiction texts (biographies, news reports, magazine articles). Additionally, students will have the opportunities to use multimedia tools such as Pictory, Padlet, and other digital writing tools to share their writing with the world. All activities are aligned with California State and Common core Standards. Each session begins 5-7 minutes of journal time. This helps students get into the habit of writing. The next 5-7 minutes is a vocabulary, punctation or grammar practice to help students develop editing skills. The next 15 minutes is a writing lesson of the day in which I model for the students key skills that are related to the topic outlined in the syllabus. The last 5 minutes is to recap key concepts of the day. Students are expected to write for at least 20 minutes after each session, so that they can complete the projects and publish a final product.
