Dive into the vibrant world of watercolors with our weekly class designed for young artists aged 7-11. In this relaxed and informal setting, students will not only discover the magic of watercolor but also embark on a self-directed creative journey. Here's a glimpse into what Watercolor Wonders has to offer:

What Will Be Taught:
•	Essential watercolor techniques: washes, gradients, and more
•	Exploration of color blending and layering
•	Sample compositions for students to work from
•	Guidance on composition and artistic expression
•	Encouragement of individual creativity

Topics Covered:
•	Developing a personal style through self-directed projects
•	Discovering the versatility of watercolors 
•	Building confidence in artistic decision-making
•	Cultivating an appreciation for art and art-making
•	Socializing with other students and developing a language for talking about art

Class Structure: 
•	Brief demonstrations of new techniques at the beginning of every class
•	Students will have the freedom to choose and direct their own projects or work from a variety of sample compositions
•	Most of the class time we will be painting together in a communal and social setting
•	Informal atmosphere where students can engage in conversations and ask questions as they work

Teaching Style: My teaching style is relaxed and encouraging. I believe that art is a personal journey, and I aim to foster a space where young artists feel comfortable expressing themselves while learning new skills.

No previous experience is required! This class is open to all skill levels, and each student will receive guidance tailored to their individual needs.
