In this ongoing class your learner will participate in a different science experiments, science projects, and art projects each week using household items. These projects and challenges will integrate science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics in different ways to solve problems, answer questions, explore ideas, and have fun. Each week's activity will be hands-on, interactive and collaborative! 
During our classes we will learn to plan and carry out projects/experiments, analyze our approach, and revise if needed. Learners will explore different topics as we are completing each project. No background knowledge is required for this class.

I will teach this class with a combination of presentation, inquiry, and questioning/discussion techniques. For many of the projects, students will get certain supplies and they will have to brainstorm how to use those supplies to solve a problem. For these specific weeks, no direct instruction will be given. I will use more of the questioning techniques to guide students in the right direction. For other projects, the students will learn about a topic and then create the project that will help them explore and demonstrate that specific topic.
