In this on-going art club, artists will learn to draw different subjects based on specific themes. Themes include sea animals, transportation, nature, forest animals, foods, jungle animals, and many more. We will go step by step together and explore the basics of drawing such as line, shape, and shading. Students will follow along with the drawing steps but are encouraged to add their own ideas! Every class will focus on drawing with pencil but towards the end of the class, students are free to color using their favorite coloring material (crayons, markers, oil pastels, etc.) The pace of our class will be based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how we are doing together. There is no experience needed for this class! May Theme Schedule: Thursday, May 1: Dinosaurs Thursday, May 8: Arctic Animals (Polar Bear, Seal, Penguin) Thursday, May 15: Farm Animals (Pig, Rooster, Cow) Thursday, May 22: Spring Flowers (Daffodil, Tulip) Thursday, May 29: Birds (Parrot, Owl, Toucan, Hummingbird) (Additional Info: some changes may happen to the drawing schedule and more sessions will open up!)
