A place where your children become my kids for a certain time a week and through Love, Effective Learning Techniques and Positive Reinforcement get forever captivated to learn Spanish.

This is an excellent program to complement the ongoing learning of: 
😺Spanish Immersion Students (Gr 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 depending on level)
😺Beginner heritage students (chicos de padres Latinos).
😺Curious Learner that want to try Spanish

 This is a class for students that want to further their knowledge of the language and have a 💯PACHANGA💯 with Friends every week! The class provides extra support  and opportunities for students to practice their speaking & exercise  the knowledge they have gained through other classes, home interactions or their Immersion program and continue to use it and practice it long term.

Every class will bring different challenges and provide students opportunities to explore their learning abilities.

We are going to have a FIESTA 🤓everyday we meet!
Through the course of this ongoing class we will focus on different topics every unit based on an interesting 8 week theme. 
💚Students can join anytime. Classes always have a review portion and do not build on each other.💚
The simple structure of this class, allows a great template for students to feel comfortable in their ongoing learning experience.
There will be no time for SIESTA💤! lol😹!

🌟In this BASIC themed class your child will get a chance to LEARN IN SPANISH:
💚Reading (Correct intonation & pronunciation)
💚Writing (Vocabulary related to the unit)
💚Colors (used for descriptive language)
💚Shapes (used for descriptive language)
💚Feelings (used for descriptive language)
💚Phonics (Vocabulary related to the unit)
💚Basic Sentence Patterns ( Relevant to the unit)
💚Short Poems (Themed and practiced throughout the unit)
💚Letters (Names and Sounds, syllable blends)
💚Numbers (Up to 120)

 All this will be done in a safe environment, where Spanish learning is fun and facilitated with Love💗.  

🦄How will the class be taught?
The class will be taught using body language to illustrate vocabulary. I like to model the language for children and make slight corrections using positive reinforcements. Your child will be presented the opportunity to join the conversation through various prompts. Learners will practice their language skills with other learners and engage in Community learning. 

🦄What is it like to take a class with “La Maestra Moni”?
Welcome to a happy place! My teaching style is dynamic and easy to follow. My aim is to provide ALL students ample opportunity to speak and repeat Spanish terms. The class will be visually appealing and engaging. My goal is to CONNECT with your child and build up his or her confidence.

🦄My Teaching Philosophy:
I use the Comprehensible Input approach to teach this Spanish Immersion class. Comprehensible input is language input that can be understood by listeners despite them not understanding all the words and structures in it. According to Krashen's theory of language acquisition, giving learners this kind of input helps them acquire language naturally, rather than learn it consciously.

This one time class is a great place to start if you would like a full assessment of your child's Spanish level. This is a great way to figure out if your child needs an adjustment or dedicated attention in certain areas like:
