Class Description
Creating a webtoon is an exciting but time-consuming process, and staying consistent can be a challenge. Webtoon Studio is a weekly club designed for teen webtoon creators who already have a webtoon in progress and want a space to stay accountable, share ideas, get feedback, and develop their episodes alongside a supportive community.

This is not an instructional class on how to create a webtoon from scratch. If you need help developing a webtoon idea, formatting for Webtoon Canvas, or learning the basics, Webtoon Creator Bootcamp is the best first step before joining this club.

Each week, students will have time to work on their webtoon episodes, soundboard ideas, troubleshoot technical challenges, and share progress with peers. The club provides a mix of structured discussion, creative time, and optional feedback, allowing students to stay on track with their webtoon projects.

What is Webtoon?
Webtoon is a digital storytelling platform where artists publish vertical-scrolling comics in a variety of genres, including:

Fantasy
Romance
Action & Superheroes
Sci-Fi
Slice of Life
Comedy
Horror & Thriller
Webtoon allows creators to share their stories with a global audience and build a following. However, creating a webtoon requires consistent effort and planning, which is where this club provides support.

What Will Be Covered?
Weekly accountability to stay on track with webtoon episodes
Feedback and idea-sharing with peers
Troubleshooting technical challenges related to software and formatting
Discussions on storytelling, pacing, panel composition, and visual flow
A creative and social space to connect with other webtoon artists
This is a student-driven space, meaning students work at their own pace while receiving support and encouragement to meet their creative goals.

Expectations & Requirements
Prerequisite: Students must have a webtoon in progress before joining. Those needing help to start a webtoon should take Webtoon Creator Bootcamp first.

 Webtoon Account Required: Students must have a Webtoon Canvas account set up before class.

Independent Work: This is a club, not a structured class. Students are responsible for working on their own projects during sessions.

 Supplies:
Digital Creators (Recommended):

A computer, tablet, or iPad with a drawing program such as Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, or Medibang
A way to resize and format images for Webtoon Canvas
Traditional Creators (If Not Using Digital):

Pencil, ink pens, and paper
Markers, colored pencils, or watercolors for coloring
A way to scan or photograph artwork for digital formatting

Parental Guidance: Webtoon is a public platform with a wide range of content. Parents should monitor their teen’s activity and discuss appropriate content choices.
