수업 소개
Doing art with younger learners can be a challenge as their fine motor skills are not fully developed. This project is designed with basic shapes such as lines and circles, as well as random shapes that can't be wrong!

Students will learn to sketch basic coral, tube sponges, and a seashell; and use wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques.

Watercolor paper divided into thirds. I use Canson XL and it works well with this technique. PLEASE NOTE: Copy paper or craft paper will not work well. You will get a lot of puddling of water and the paper will buckle. You won't be happy. It's best to wait until you can obtain some watercolor paper before enrolling. Any type of watercolor paint will do: tubes, pans, or liquids. Watercolor brushes in 2 or 3 sizes. I use a round 6, a round 0, and a wash brush. Round brushes are important because they come to a point and allow you to make thin and thick lines. Painter's tape or Washi tape -- we will use this to divide our paper into 3 sections. 2 cups of water Paper towels I will post instructions on how to prep your paper the day before class.
