Over 8 exciting weeks, they’ll build graphic design skills in Canva while creating travel-inspired projects that bring their adventure to life: ✈️ Week 1: Travel Vision Board – Choose a destination and create an inspiration board Week 2: Fact Sheet – Research key details like climate, landmarks, and local culture Week 3: Travel Itinerary – Plan daily activities and must-see spots Week 4: Packing List & Boarding Pass – Pack for the trip and design a travel ticket Week 5: Language & Local Phrases Guide – Learn key phrases to navigate the destination Week 6: Festivals & Traditions Poster – Explore unique cultural celebrations Week 7: Food & Culture Menu – Design a menu featuring traditional local dishes Week 8: Scrapbook Page – Wrap up the journey with a creative travel keepsake 📍 Just like on a real trip, we’ll create postcards along the way, capturing exciting moments as we “travel” from place to place! Students should know basic Canva skills (adding text and images). For some sessions, they’ll research their destination before class using a provided worksheet. We’ll use their findings to design travel-themed projects in Canva.

For certain sessions, I’ll provide research gathering guides to help students organize what they learn. If they find images outside of Canva, they can upload them to their computer, and I’ll guide them on how to add them to their design.
