Ready to start your violin journey? In this fun and interactive beginner course, students will learn the basics of violin technique, understand how their instrument works, and be able to play simple songs by the end of the four weeks! 

Students will learn:
- Parts of the violin and bow
- Proper posture, violin, and bow holds
- Bowing techniques (up-bow, down-bow)
- Open-string rhythms and simple songs
- Introduction to left-hand finger placement
- Basic music theory (note names and rhythms)

Class Structure:
Each session will include a combination of short lessons, demonstrations, group playing, and hands-on activities. We'll start with a warm-up, introduce a new skill or concept, and spend time practicing through fun exercises and simple songs.

How will the class be taught?
Lessons will be lively and engaging, mixing live demonstrations with interactive elements like:

- Games (musical scavenger hunts, rhythm clapping)
- Quizzes (name-the-part challenges)
- Group echo-playing
 - Short videos or slides to show techniques
 - Play-along practice with teacher support

Teaching Style:
I focus on creating a supportive, energetic environment where students feel comfortable trying new things. I believe learning is best when it's playful, clear, and step-by-step. I emphasize encouragement, frequent feedback, and celebrating progress at every stage.

Interaction with Students:
Students will get lots of chances to interact! Each class will include:

 - Live demonstrations with student participation
- Group discussions about what they hear and feel
- Play-alongs and call-and-response activities
- Games and activities to reinforce learning
- One-on-one mini check-ins during practice time

By the end of the course, students will proudly perform a simple piece either solo or with the group in a friendly mini-recital!
