수업 소개
Description skills are highly involved in creating a villain. Superheroes are some of the most descriptive characters created, yet villains need to be able to overcome them or even be the main character in a plot. While creating their own character, students will learn more description skills and use it to work with their own creativity. What goes into making a character? What can be done with the character once it is created? These are topics that will be discussed while the students are using their skills to both write a short description of the character and draw their new character. The project development at home will be to continue the work until the student has completed what he or she would like his or her perfect villain to be. We will use slides, discussion, composition, and drawing skills in this class. The student will need at least one piece of paper, a pencil, and colored pencils, markers, or crayons for the activity.

Students will improve their description skills beyond the basics of color, size, and shape into more character skills of how their own villain is maniacal, a trickster, and simple symbolism. A major goal of the class is to not only create a visual character but to understand that what they do is just as or even more important.

Hi! I teach literature, writing, reading, leadership, music (trumpet), college/university prep and success, and personal development classes. I think those things are fun.
I want people to love what they do and have fun too! I've taught for 15 years, and I like to be as creative as possible. I earned a Master of Arts in English and American Literature and am a university-trained trumpeter. I'm certified in a lot of things like Time Management, Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL), and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) because I like to learn. I even have extra leadership and human development training. I had some time on my hands, so why not learn something new?
I like my dog, and he likes his cat. We all live together. We like plants, Netflix, drawing, and spontaneously organizing things we have around the house. Sometimes, we just get rid of stuff. They don't like to swim, but I do. I take lots of photos of them. They don't mind too much. My dog and I like the park, and the cat -- she likes naps.리뷰
