This course is designed to allow learners to learn about the veterinary industry at their own pace. In this course, topics covered include Veterinary Terminology, Care and Management of Species, Integumentary System, Skeletal Muscular System, Nervous System, Cardiovascular system, Respiratory system, Digestive System and Nutrition, Urinary System, Reproduction, Immune Systems, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Physical Exams, Hospital Procedures, and Laws & Ethics. This is designed to help learners prepare for the job of veterinary assisting or even prepare for veterinary technician school. It is in depth, and can be complex at times, but is rewarding.
