I have been teaching U.S. History for six years, during which I have developed a robust understanding of the content, student needs, and effective instructional strategies to ensure success on the Texas End-of-Course (EOC) exam. Strategic Test Prep: I have honed a variety of strategies specifically designed to prepare students for the format and content of the EOC exam. These strategies focus on critical thinking, time management, and test-taking techniques, particularly for multiple-choice questions, short-answer sections, and essays. I have used past EOC tests, practice exams, and mock tests to familiarize students with the structure and timing of the exam. This has proven invaluable in helping them feel confident and prepared. Through continuous formative assessments, I identify gaps in student understanding early, providing targeted interventions and personalized learning plans to improve performance.
