I am a certified social studies teacher with over a decade of experience working with learners.  I am certified in Missouri and Indiana to teach social studies to grades 5-12.  *Social studies refers to American History, Geography, Government/Civics, Sociology, Psychology, and World History.  
I focus on individualizing lessons to meet the needs of learners, including those who are struggling and students who need more challenge.  I have a BA in Political Science, a MA in Secondary Education, and an Ed Spec degree in Educational Technology.  I use technologies in effective and creative ways to enhance the learning process and increase motivation of learners.

세부 내용: I will provide suggestions for optional extensions of knowledge.  These activities will be a range of reading tasks, DBQ's, forms, analysis questions, research opportunities, and short videos.  A variety of resources will be shared to support learners who need or want additional practice and/or challenge.  No learner should feel overwhelmed!

세부 내용: Formative assessment/feedback will be included regularly.  If a more structured grading metric is requested, I can include this as well through.  It's very important that parents communicate with me early on if they would like "grades" and how regularly.
