We will begin with a brief review of circles, right triangles and plotting points on the coordinate plane. Then we will learn which special angles are usually associated with the Unit Circle and how their trig function values relate to the graph of the Unit Circle. We will begin with degree measures and then introduce radian measures.

Students will understand the special angle measures on the Unit Circle (both positive and negative), in degrees and in radians.We will introduce the sine and cosine trigonometric functions and how they relate to the values on the unit circle.
