In this class we will cover:
*The place value chart (as a puzzle)
*Reading and writing numbers
*Expanded notation
* Rounding numbers to a given place.
The first class will begin with the place value chart.  It is the foundation of all numbers.  I have a puzzle that I have created to help make it fun to learn the patterns of place value.  Then we will practice reading and writing numbers through the millions.  We will end the first class by beginning expanded notation.  The second class will begin with a review of the first class and then continue on to expanded notation.  Then we will begin rounding numbers.  The third class will continue rounding numbers.  It will end with a review of all the material we covered to check for understanding.
