I will assess students skills and then provide hands-on ways lessons to support their growth. It will be very interactive with games, songs, writing, reading, and more! I provide 1:1 tutoring in reading, writing and math depending on the families needs. For reading typical areas of focus include learning how to blend and segment new words as well as learning word families, digraphs, blends, vowel teams, word beginnings and endings. We practice reading stories with a focus on fluency and comprehension. For writing I have many ways to help students expand their writing to include more descriptions and details. We also focus on grammar and parts of a sentence. In math I have experience teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number bonds, fractions, time, shapes, and measurement. We will learn about number families and build foundational math skills using games and hands-on tools to help students explore and master math concepts. Each tutoring session is tailored to the individual student and their needs.
학습 목표
Students will expand their reading skills. I look at sight words, word families, blending, segmenting and reading comprehension.Students will grow their math foundational knowledge. Depending on students level we focus on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using multiple strategies. I am also happy to support in word problems, fractions, shapes and time!
