In this class, I give private, individualized, trombone instruction on the trombone (including all trombones such as tenor, f-attachment tenor, alto, and bass trombones). Lessons include appropriate literature and fundamental studies such as scales, tone exercises, flexibility, range, clef studies, and other fundamental skills needed to play the trombone. Students also play from an etude book (appropriate to their skill level). Lessons are tailored to specific student goals and aspirations....

Students need an instrument, a metronome, and a tuner. I also encourage students to bring a pencil and notebook to track assignments and markup music. Students will need an etude book. This book is determined upon assessment and used in later lessons.
