Hello families! My name is Teacher Alissa and I am the owner and creator of Oak Tree Learning! Here you will find classes taught by myself, along with two fellow educators (Teacher Angela and Teacher Colleen). At Oak Tree Learning we believe in the benefits of directed learning with a child centered approach. We believe that learning takes place best when the teacher facilitates the lesson and the children are actively engaged in what they are doing. We are a team of educated, qualified, and experienced educators and we cannot wait to meet your little one in the classroom! We offer a variety of classes including perschool and kindergarten circle time, common core curriculum classes, private tutoring classes, and much more! Please reach out with any questions.

Teacher Alissa
I am a fully certified teacher with my Masters of Early Childhood Education, Bachelors of Elementary Education, and my Special Education Certification. I have over ten years of teaching experience and spent several years working as an early elementary educator at a private school that focuses on numeracy and literacy before moving to Outschool full time. 

Teacher Angela
I have worked with children and youth for over 37 years and have a varied and vast amount of experience. For the last 25 years I have worked as an Educational Assistant in a Specialized Classroom in a Rehabilitation Hospital. Before working for the schoolboard I was a day home owner and operator. 

Teacher Colleen
I am a fully certified teacher with my Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in physical education and a minor in math. I have over five years of teaching experience and am currently working at a private school that focuses on numeracy and literacy.
