Students will learn general knowledge about Kyoto's location and size and specialties. Then move through some major areas as we "Travel" together on a virtual field trip through Kyoto. The topics that will be covered are general info and culture of Kyoto, Japan and highlight some landmarks of major areas, unique qualities, and a little about temples and shrines. Being a world traveler, Japan is one of the many beautiful countries that I have been lucky enough to have visited multiple times. I have done extensive research of Japan as I was going to live there while teaching ESL in local schools. Covid-19 kept me from doing that for now, but I have studied for many years about the culture as it was going to be my new home and have witnessed the culture first hand in my many trips to the country.
