Each class we will "travel to" one country/territory and learn several interesting and fun facts about it. Information will include the geography, a little language, the capital, major cities, the currency, popular tourist attractions, and more. Because travel is a visual experience, our virtual traveling will include many pictures and virtual reality tours of the country as well. Since this is an ongoing class and each meeting will be about a new country, learners can begin the class...

Learners gain a basic understanding of a new country. They will be able to locate it on a map and share information about the language(s) spoken, currency used, etc. They will also increase their curiosity about and their openness to parts of the world they've never seen.
I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Education (Curriculum and Instruction). I have also lived abroad in Japan and England and have travelled to a total of 20 countries and 33 US states. I have personally travelled to all of the countries we learn about in this class and have fun experiences to share! I'm also a Nearpod Certified Educator.
