Welcome to Tranquil Travelers: Guided Meditation. In this class, learners will be immersed in a tranquil experience of guided meditation while we will cover many topics of social and emotional learning and mindfulness. Topics will include emotions, self esteem, anti-bullying, empathy, respect, kindness, gratitude, confidence, self regulation, conflict resolution and so much more. We start every class by introducing ourselves. Then learners are welcome to get comfortable in whatever way...
- Students will learn how to successfully meditate
- Students will learn new social and emotional skills that they can apply to their daily lives.
Access to a printer is required. PDFs will be sent prior to class and will consist of 1-3 pages for our activity or craft. Students will also need scissors, glue, tape, crayons or markers. Additional materials may be tissue paper, disposable cups, toilet paper rolls, tissue boxes, etc. Exact materials for each class are listed in the class schedule and will also be emailed prior to class.
