수업 소개

In this one time, interactive class, students will come along with me to the woods to meet a very good friend of mine, Owl. Students will need room to move and somewhere they can make a little noise as we move through this flapping, tapping and clapping interactive book. As we make our way through this book, students will also learn facts about owls, such as where they live and build nests, what they eat, and that they are nocturnal. At the end of the lesson, we will review what we learned, our favorite parts, and learn to draw an owl.

Hello! My name is Jena! I am a stay-at-home mom to four wonderful children (2 boys and 2 girls). We are also in the process of adopting, again, from China!
I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with junior high endorsements in mathematics and language arts. I taught in the public school system before deciding to stay home and take care of our children. I have always hoped to get back into teaching of some form so I am thrilled to be teaching on Outschool.
I believe children learn best when they can be a part of the learning. I use hands on/interactive learning techniques to teach! Most of my classes will have a project to go along with the lesson! I will be teaching science, math, and a little bit of farming. I also plan on offering some storybook project classes! I can’t wait to meet your child in the classroom! See ya there!
