Having a workout partner makes fitness more fun and helps us stick to it! Fitness isn’t about how you look — it’s about how you feel! Health and strength look different for everyone, and that's OK! We’re here to support each other. ❤️ What to Expect: 🔥 Warm-Up: We’ll start with upbeat music to get your heart pumping and muscles ready! 💪 Workout: I’ll guide you through a variety of fun exercises for both upper and lower body – with modifications so everyone feels successful! 🏆 Core + Cool Down: We’ll finish with a core exercise and a relaxing stretch. 💥GAME TIME- fun game to end class having fun! 🙌 More Than Just a Workout: ✔️ Build strength and confidence — no pressure, just progress! ✔️ Learners will help count reps and socialize during the workout (hello, new friends!) ✔️ Encouragement and praise throughout – I correct form positively and never put anyone on the spot! ✔️ Leave class feeling energized, proud, and ready to keep moving! ❤️ Confidence Through Fitness Puberty can be tough on confidence — but movement helps! 👉 Our goal is to create a safe space where every tween/teen feels: ✅ Comfortable ✅ Encouraged ✅ Strong and empowered 💖 We’re not just building strong kids — we’re building confident, motivated, and happy ones! Learners will learn various stretches and exercises throughout class. I will teach them proper form by modeling both the correct and incorrect ways to perform each exercise. The goal of this class is to help promote a love for physical exercise and health! I seek to do this by providing a comfortable and inviting environment for the kids while we also build camaraderie with one another.
Improvement in the areas of strength, balance, and agility.
They will also be working towards achieving the daily physical activity recommendations of both the CDC and American Heart Association. According to the CDC, it is recommended that children and adolescents ages (6-17 years) should do 60 minutes or more of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity each day, including daily aerobic – and activities that strengthen bones (like running or jumping) – 3 days each week, and that build muscles (like climbing or doing push-ups) – 3 days each week."
According to the American Heart Association:
Active kids are more likely to have:
-a healthy weight
-stronger, healthier bones and muscles
-better heart and brain health
-improved brain function, including memory, attention and problem-solving
-better school attendance and academic performance, especially in math, reading and writing
-lower long-term risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and some kinds of cancer
-less stress and fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression
-less inappropriate and distracting classroom behavior
-improved mental health and psychological well-being, including confidence and self-esteem

Parental guidance is suggested just to make sure your child is staying hydrated and resting when needed. But don't worry! We will take plenty of group water and breathing breaks!
수업 자료
-Water (for hydration) -2 additional water bottles (these will be used as our 1lb weights)- if you have small hand weights/dumbbells 1-10lbs you are encouraged to use those, but weights are not required. You can pick up an inexpensive pair at Walmart, Amazon, or even a Dollar Store. -Optional mat or pad as some exercises will be performed on our knees or on the ground. -Small space clear of objects
