The Magic Flute: Mozart's Music With Story & Craft.

In the first part of the class, students will listen to a shortened version of Mozart's The Magic Flute. They will learn about opera as a genre of classical music. Also, kids will listen and reenact some of the most beautiful and famous arias including Papageno's and Queen of The Night's arias. In the second part of the class, students will create open-ended crafts inspired by the opera, and their imagination, and provided materials. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE LIST OF MATERIALS NEEDED...

Materials for Craft: • 2-3 long drinking straws • 1 Paper towel tube • 1-2 pages construction paper • Aluminum foil (about 9 X 12 inches) • Markers • Scissors • Scotch tape • Glue
Parental Guidance is required for younger students (ages 4-5) and recommended for older ones (ages 6-7) due to the use of scissors and other materials. Thank you.
