In this Strange History class, we delve into the life, history, and legacy of the trailblazing Amelia Earhart. She was a rebel, a visionary, and a fighter who worked hard for every moment in the sky she received- but even with all of that- her most enduring legacy is her mysterious disappearance. We’re going to look at the facts of her last known whereabouts, then go through some of the most intriguing theories and discuss our thoughts on the unanswered questions surrounding her case, and...

Teaching this class for two years over multiple zoom lessons and at local, live co-ops for homeschoolers, at least a dozen times.
Possibly a pencil and paper if they are interested in taking notes on the evidence presented to help them with coming up with a theory at the end of class.
This class talks about Amelia’s early childhood and some rough moments between her parents, that may be a trigger for some students. We also discuss possibly theories about Amelia’s disappearance, which include plane crashes, kidnapping, and murder.
