Beginner 레벨
This class is ideal for teens who are interested in pursuing a career in health care. It is an introduction-level series that runs just like a full semester course, but with the flexibility and convenience of ongoing enrollment. Classes meet once per week. My experience in teaching started when I was in high school as a math and ESL tutor. I majored in life sciences at Queen’s University in Ontario with a minor in psychology. I moved to North Carolina and practiced for 5 years as a chiropractor and acupuncturist before starting a family and embarking on a second career as a university instructor. I have been teaching anatomy & physiology and medical terminology for over 15 years.

Images as it relates to surgery and pathology may be graphic in nature. The topics "Urology", "Gynecology and Obstetrics" cover sensitive topics as related to reproduction. Classes on the reproductive system will focus on the terms related to anatomy, rather than topics on sexuality, gender issues and sexual health. All material presented is factual and science-based. Nearpod.com will be used in every class. This third party tool is approved. No additional account is required. A link will be provided at the beginning of class.
