In this private tutoring session, I will help students in Kindergarten - 5th grade practice and grow in reading, reading comprehension, writing, and/or math. With this special your 1st 1hr tutoring session is only $15! Afterwards the sessions are regular price which is 1 hour for $45 or 30 mins for $22 (You are not obligated to do more sessions).  

Some examples of skills I help students grow in are:

- phonics skills: such as blending sounds together to help read & spell grade level words
-building reading comprehension skills by focusing on main idea, summarizing, inference, "Wh" questions (who, what, when, where, why & how)
-reading fluency
-using tallies, pictures, fingers & number to add and subtract 1 digit numbers
-tricks to help multiply
-reading sight words 
-2-3 digit multiplication & division
-IEP goals

Prior to our first meeting please provide me with details as to concerns, skills you would like us on work, goals and any data you have available about your learner's current abilities. If your child has an I.E.P I can also focus on one of the I.E.P goals. If you do not send the skills you want your child to work on, we can discuss it during the first class or I can assess your child and choose a skill to focus on.  

I strongly believe that we can work together as a team. I can offer guidance to parents/guardians on how to support progress between tutoring if requested.
